VT Knowledgeworks Global Entrepreneurship Challenge 2017

The VT KnowledgeWorks Global Student Entrepreneurship Challenge is open to the public to observe elite university teams compete on a world stage and deliver 10-minute presentations for a $25,000 grand prize and the VT KnowledgeWorks Global Challenge Trophy. The Challenge is in conjunction with the VT KnowledgeWorks Global Partnership EventAugust 17-26, which offers a unique opportunity for global student teams and faculty to collaborate and initiate their personal global networks through learning, socialization, and friendly competition in Blacksburg and Roanoke, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., USA.  Learn more about this year’s global partners and competing finalist teams.

Teams with a tangible product competing for the Plastics One Advanced Manufacturing Award: Chitomics, Cohex, FlyingScarecrows, Nexenic, PAL’AGUA, Silent Hero, SkyCam, Tekuma.

 Teams with an intangible product or service competing for the VT KnowledgeWorks Information Technology Award: College Dough, Curos Labs, Plann3r, Prognitive,, Todo.

 An additional $15,000 grand prize will be awarded to one of the two teams that receive the $10,000 Advanced Manufacturing Award or the $10,000 Information Technology Award, by selection of the judging panel.
