Global Partnership Week Alumni Opportunities

VTKW Global Partnership WeekVT KnowledgeWorks Global Partnership Week held on August 17-23, 2014, provided a unique opportunity for student teams and faculty from all over the world to collaborate and initiate their personal global networks through learning, socialization, and friendly competition. During this week-long celebration, over 35 global students and faculty members from 12 universities around the world visited the Roanoke-Blacksburg region. Three finalist teams were awarded $35,000 collectively in cash prizes to encourage their entrepreneurial endeavors, plus over 250 regional participants were involved or supported the event, including 12 regional technology companies, 18 host families, and 29 sponsors, just to name a few.

Opportunities for the participating teams don’t end with the competition, however. VT KnowledgeWorks is pleased to offer further benefits to Global Partnership Week participants.
