VT KnowledgeWorks announces 2nd annual ACC InVenture Prize at Virginia Tech

VT KnowledgeWorks will host its 2nd annual ACC InVenture Prize @ Virginia Tech competition at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center in Blacksburg, Virginia, on November 2, 2016.

 

acc inventure @ virginia tech competitionVirginia Tech undergraduate student teams will present their business ideas in a 3-minute pitch to a live audience and panel of judges. The winning team will win transportation and accommodations to compete against other ACC universities in Atlanta on March 31, 2017, at the ACC InVenture Prize competition, a Shark Tank-style pitch competition offering $30,000 in prize money.

Teams that applied for the ACC InVenture Prize @ Virginia Tech competition will also be automatically entered into the VT KnowledgeWorks Global Entrepreneurship Challenge Semifinals competition on April 12, 2017, to compete for $15,000 in scholarships, start-up services, and the opportunity to face global contenders on a world stage next summer for the $25,000 VT KnowledgeWorks Global Student Entrepreneurship Challenge Award.
