The start-up team EntoLog aims to help tackle the growing global challenge of producing nutritious protein-rich foods using an innovative technology that enables the extraction of proteins and other valuable nutritional products from insects. Using their state-of-the-art technology EntoLog can create a variety of insect-based food products to meet different customer needs at prices that are competitive with existing protein-rich foods.

Team EntoLog will be competing in the Global Student Entrepreneurship Challenge for the VT KnowledgeWorks Global Challenge Trophy and the $25,000 Grand Prize in the Alumni Assembly Hall in The Inn at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia, on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. All are invited and those who would like to attend can register here.
