Business concept and description:

Vestigo
Why can your smartphone guide you from thousands of miles away to within 20 feet of your destination, but when you arrive you’re on your own for finding a parking space? The most outdated part of your commute today isn’t your car; it’s finding that space. We believe we have an answer to this problem and that solution is Vestigo, your parking lot GPS. Vestigo uses a novel data collection system that takes advantage of inexpensive, high quality laser rangefinders in tandem with a mobile service – to provide a real time map of available parking. Our team is attempting to bring down the cost of real time parking occupancy sensors. We believe that real world, real time, information can make our communities more efficient and improve everyone’s quality of life.
