VT KnowledgeWorks announces a strategic alliance to strengthen and expand its Presidents’ Council peer mentorship program. The Blacksburg, Virginia-based business resource center will partner with Leadership Exchange Council to enrich program content, widen the member base to include companies of all sizes and in all industries, and expand the program throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Jim Flowers, Executive Director of VT KnowledgeWorks, is particularly excited by the professional resources that LXCouncils will bring to the peer mentorship movement in Virginia. “LXC founder Tina Corner stands alone as an industry leader, both as a designer of polished and effective group moderation methods and as an assembler of powerful, mutually supportive peer groups. Allying with Tina and her first-class team assures that VT KnowledgeWorks will be firmly positioned to serve growing enterprises across the entire state for years into the future. The LXC model matches each member company with its logical counterparts, in size, business type, and experience, providing maximum synergy in business practice enrichment and personal relationships.”
“We have had a nice run with our homegrown version of peer mentorship,” says Flowers, “but LXC brings a national/global scale professionalism that we could never hope to match locally.”
Over the next few months the allies will be hosting a series of informational meetings for companies of all sizes and in all industries to explain the value of professional peer mentorship and the specifics of the LXC approach. View details of the LXC program and philosophies.
