The Center for Innovative Technology(CIT) initiated the GAP 50 Entrepreneur Awards, a state-wide program designed to identify, celebrate and honor Virginia's innovative entrepreneurs creating high-growth companies in the areas of life sciences, technology and energy.
Finalists were required to receive 3 or more nominations to qualify.
