Sharing Community Locally and Globally During VTKW Global Partnership Week

We so look forward to our global community's time together during VT KnowledgeWorks Global Partnership Week, August 19-25, 2012!

Our mission is to bring university students, faculty, staff and business leaders from all over the world together to congregate, collaborate, form partnerships, and build our global networks in permanent social, academic, and business relationships.

Let's help all of us extend our networks and build our relationships by sharing our experiences during the week!

People from all over the globe will head to the Blacksburg and Roanoke, Virginia, USA area this week.  People from all over the globe who weren't able to attend, or are connected to the people who are attending, will want to know what's happening!

Use hashtag #vtkwglobal on Twitter!

If you use Twitter, we invite you to post updates using #vtkwglobal as a hashtag.  Just like at the recent Olympics, this will let everyone track what's going on at every event.  Anyone can search Twitter using "#vtkwglobal" as a search term, then click on the #vtkwglobal hashtag to see the stream of tweets about the event.  Click here to see the latest #vtkwglobal updates on Twitter.

If you use Facebook, we invite you to post updates and photos to the VT KnowledgeWorks Facebook page, or to tag VT KnowledgeWorks in your updates, again, so we can share globally what's happening for those here and abroad.

If you use YouTube, make movies, upload videos and send us the links!  We'll post the videos on the VTKW Facebook page or share them via our blog.

We plan to live stream the VT KnowledgeWorks Global Student Business Concept Challenge so the world can watch!  We'll keep you posted on where and how to access that.  You can use the “chatter” or messaging component on the live stream channel to share about the event.  Here's a list of the teams competing on Thursday, August 23, 2012.
