Business Concept Competitions
Finalist Teams from both the Student Business Concept Competition and Open Business Concept Competition will take the stage at 9:30 a.m. and pitch their business concepts throughout the day. Student teams compete for $10,000 in scholarships and the opportunity to compete on a world stage in August, 2012 for the $25,000 VT KnowledgeWorks Global Challenge Award. Local entrepreneurs compete for $5,000 in start-up services from VT KnowledgeWorks.

Networking Reception and Awards Presentation
The day concludes with a networking reception from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., where winners of the competitions are announced and awarded their prizes! Catered by The Inn at Virginia Tech, this reception will provide the opportunity to build on the business relationships and connections made throughout the day.
