Local Entrepreneurs Pitch at Distilled Intelligence 1.0

BlinkMatch, freshAiR and She Chooses were three companies founded in Southwest Virginia selected from over a hundred entries as one of fifty-five startups to compete at Distilled Intelligence 1.0 on October 11, 2011 at the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) in Herndon, Virginia. She Chooses(TM) is a joint spin-out from VT KnowledgeWorks member companies Automations Creations, Inc. and Handshake Media, Incorporated. BlinkMatch and freshAiR made the semi-final round of the top 22 companies. Engagn, also founded in Southwest Virginia, was present to support fellow entrepreneurs.

Each of the 55 companies selected to present to potential investors at Distilled Intelligence 1.0 gave a one-minute pitch to judges during the first round to compete to proceed to the next.
