The first day of the Entrepreneurship Summit will feature five student teams from Virginia Tech and four student teams from nearby universities, each presenting their business concept ideas and competing to win $5,000 and the opportunity to compete on a world stage next August for the $25,000 VT KnowledgeWorks Global Challenge Award.  The Virginia Tech competition starts at 9:30 a.m.  The finalist teams are Aerus, Juce Powered Bags, Kiwee Stroller Company, Lujure, and PodSend.  The Regional competition starts at 1:30 p.m.  The finalist teams are Closed Loop Energy, LLC, Dear Career, Kera10, and Masalah.  The winning teams will be announced at our Networking Reception and Student Awards Presentation at 4:00 p.m.
