SBIR Award Workshop at Discounted Rates

Incubator tenants [VT KnowledgeWorks members], SBDC clients, PTAC clients, and Tech Council Members interested in learning about how to apply for federal R&D funds recieve discounted rates for the [upcoming] SBIR workshop. SBIR grants (Small Business Innovation Research) and its sister STTR grant program (Small Business Technology Transfer) provide $150K – $1M in early stage R&D funding for high risk, new technology development.  11 participating federal agencies use this program to fund early stage technology development that will help them meet their missions.  This workshop, lead by one of the leading SBIR instructors/consultants in the country, Mr. John Davis of The SBIR Resource Center, will be held on November 16, 2010 at Hampton Inn Roanoke-Airport at 6621 Thirlane Rd., Roanoke, Virginia, 24019.
