Q. Who are your team members?
A. Otso Virtanen, graduating, Architecture; Matti Rekonen, 3th year, Mechanical engineering; team members not attending: Pekka Huima, architecture: Jouko Kallio, energy technology
Q. What is your business concept/idea?
Sauna Savu – Savu Oy (Savu Ltd). Our concept is to produce, market and distribute a Finnish-designed Sauna with its own trademark to international markets. Sauna Savu, a modular Finnish sauna, is a sensitive mixture of Finnish vernacular architecture and Scandinavian contemporary design.
Q. What encouraged you to pursue this business idea?
A. Positive feedback after the Finnish design show Habitare 2009.
Q. When was the first inception of your business idea/concept?
A. The first inception was when we participated in Venture Cup, March 2010. We finished in the final 10 amoung 94 teams.
