The Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP) awarded its 2009 AIIP Technology Award to AttaainCI, created by Daryl Scott, founder of Attaain, Inc. , a VT KnowledgeWorks member company.

Attaain Inc. was recognized for AttaainCI, its state-of-the-art competitive intelligence and market intelligence tool, which provides information through a full-featured, well thought-out, and easy-to-use web-based system, according to the association’s panel of judges. Every year, the AIIP Technology Award is presented to a company whose product, in the opinion of the panel, best assists independent information professionals with their day-to-day operations in locating, analyzing, organizing, and delivering information.
