Keraderm, a VT KnowledgeWorks member company, announced closing a $2.5 million investment from NewVa Capital Partners. The news was covered in The Roanoke Times.

Our recent funding by the NewVa fund will allow Keraderm to complete clinical trials and begin the commercialization of our device. We are excited to begin to grow our operation and presence in the NewVa region.
Doug Juanarena heads GenTek Ventures, and he, along with colleague Bob Savage, was instrumental in securing funding for Keraderm. Juanarena serves in an advisory capacity as entrepreneur-in-residence for VT KnowledgeWorks member companies.
