Keraderm, a VT KnowledgeWorks member company, announced closing a $2.5 million investment from NewVa Capital Partners.

This announced investment for Keraderm says a lot about the Roanoke and New River Valleys. First, it is exciting to see yet another biotech/life sciences company continue to grow and prosper here. Second, it is exciting to see that they are able to receive funding from local sources that in years past may have required “outside” investment. Lastly, it is exciting to see Virginia Tech, Carilion, and Third Security continuing to work together to help the region prosper.
