International Student Team of Entrepreneurs to Arrive at VT KnowledgeWorks

Remember a few months ago when VT KnowledgeWorks’ Director Jim Flowers shared the stage in Paris with Mme. Christine Lagarde, French Minister for the Economy, Industry, and Employment, as they honored the winning student team at the Annual Entrepreneurial Project Challenge at TELECOM Sud-Paris?

As part of its Grand Prix award for entrepreneurial innovation, the student team won a week of immersion in entrepreneurship at VT KnowledgeWorks.

The student team arrives on Monday, September 7, 2009!

MulteeGaming, winners of the Entrepreneurial Project Challenge, will visit VT KnowledgeWorks

Team MulteeGaming, pictured above, is comprised of engineering students and business students who created a downloadable, video game platform that supports multiplayer titles on XBOX360 and PS3.

According to the development team, will be a place where console gamers can compete for cash and prizes with friends and other players from around the world. Developed in a safe and secure environment, the platform proposes a number of tools that offer play at the gamer's skill level, learning from professional gamers, and secure deposits and fast cashouts.

As part of their award, MulteeGaming team members will enjoy a welcome dinner courtesy of the Virginia Tech Office of Outreach and International Affairs, a two-day Founders’ Readiness Retreat at Mountain Lake Resort, on-the-job shadowing of local company presidents, social time with Hokie Entrepreneurship Society student members, and, best of all, perhaps, tickets to the Virginia Tech-Marshall football game.

Welcome, MulteeGaming!
