Drama Intensifies at The Entrepreneurship Summit

We still only know two of the five companies that will pitch to a panel of angel investors during the afternoon of the inaugural VT KnowledgeWorks Entrepreneurship Summit on April 2, 2009.

According to the organizers of CVG’s LiveFire! ™, when the panelists grill the companies, “No one’s feelings are spared and no question is out of line.”

My, my.

Meet those CVG’s LiveFire! ™ panelists:  Valerie S. Gaydos, David S. Rose, Richard D. Crawford, and Letitia Green.

In the morning, we’re hoping the Student Business Competition panelists selecting the winning team – Jim Flowers, Dr. Richard Daugherty, Susan Shepard, Dr. J. Stephen Childers, and Ken Ray – might spare a feeling or two.

Except Jim Flowers, director of VT KnowledgeWorks and moxie expert, will probably be on fire from have presented a two-hour Basics of Successful Entrepreneurship session that morning.

Not enough drama for you?  Get this:  Gladhandle, the company planning to unveil its product at The Summit?  The whole story is on Handshake 2.0, but let’s just say Andy Horner, COO, sent me a pic.

Gladhandle - Breakthrough Communications Manager

The drama lasts all day at the inaugural VT KnowledgeWorks Entrepreneurship Summit.

You can see the moxie of Jim Flowers for yourself, meet Andy Horner of Gladhandle and Ed Leary of ContraVac – the two companies announced so far to pitch to the no-feelings-spared panelists in front of a live audience – meet our speaker, Ken Ray, and rub elbows with panelists and more angel investors when you register for the inaugural VT KnowledgeWorks Entrepreneurship Summit  held next Thursday, April 2, 2009, in Blacksburg, Virginia.
