Who and what doesn’t she know? Her knowledge is a web of connections such that she can match CRC individuals, their companies, and what they do faster than a mouse click.
And her understanding of the power of knowledge and how to communicate that knowledge is a marvel. The Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center eNewsletter, to which there are over 600 subscribers (number provided by Shirley), is managed, designed, contributed to, and dispersed by Shirley. She is also a gifted photographer.
Shirley includes selections of content from Inside VT KnowledgeWorks, the VT KnowledgeWorks blog, in the CRC’s eNewsletter. On the days she sends it out, traffic to the site spikes.
To be able to help a person reach those with whom she most yearns to connect? That’s power.
