Top Intellectual Property Advice

When I attended the NCTC Fall Gala, I was introduced by John Geikler of Virginia Tech Intellectual Properties, Inc. (VTIP), to Michael Greenbaum, a partner with Washington, D.C. law firm Blank Rome.

Thinking of the high-tech companies at business acceleration center VT KnowledgeWorks, I asked Mr. Greenbaum for intellectual property advice for entrepreneurs.  He very kindly sent me a link to the Maryland Intellectual Property Law Blog.

A quote from this post indicates that IP advice is plentiful online and that the MD IP Law Blog is a top source:

"The top 20 law blogs focusing on intellectual property issues, based on ‘weekly’ rankings compiled by Blawgsearch, are shown below. The Maryland Intellectual Property Law Blog is ranked 11th (out of a total 183 blogs in the IP category)."

Thank you so much, Mr. Greenbaum, for this useful and fascinating information.

  1. I saw and wanted to mention a useful site:

It provides free patent searching, free PDF downloading, allows annoting documents and sharing them, and free alerts for new documents.

If you have a spot, a link to let your users know abou the site would be great.
