Search Results – The Accelerated Entrepreneur

The results I sought, I found at Concept Camp.

At Concept Camp, I found that my seeking to make a financially successful business from an idea was blocked by my confusion of features and benefits.

From this post from Jim Flowers, director of business acceleration center VT KnowledgeWorks:

“Buyers don’t really care about product or service features.  They care about the benefits that features deliver.”

I love my product’s features.

Clients, my fellow Concept Camp attendees made very clear to me, will love the benefits.

In guiding me towards creating a financially successful member company of VT KnowledgeWorks, Jim Flowers said, “You can enjoy the features all you want.  But sell the benefits.”

I admit that the benefits of my product have huge business value.  But I love the art and craft of its features.

The top benefit of the product of my company?

First page Google results.

In nine months, I’ve written over 200 blog posts for Inside VT KnowledgeWorks.  In nine weeks, I’ve written almost 70 for Handshake 2.0.

Companies I write blog posts about–some just once, some months ago, especially recently–show up on the first page of Google search results.

Watch this:

torc tech
valley business front
nanosafe inc
vt knowledgeworks
automation creations
newva tech expo
legendary teams
gentek ventures
vision point systems

How and why that happens?  From Jim Flowers, I learned that’s my "mindshare," my intellectual property, my IP.

So, with regard to how and why?

Not telling.

Inside VT KnowledgeWorks and Handshake 2.0 are ventures of Handshake Media, Incorporated, a member company of business acceleration center VT KnowledgeWorks.
