THC Technologies and VoiceVantage

I’m a fan of entrepreneurs.

I’m a particular fan of VT KnowledgeWorks entrepreneurial high-tech companies that can, well, make it all about me.

TORC put me in the driver’s seat of its unmanned vehicle.

Nanci Hardwick measured a strand of my hair to show me the capabilities of Schultz-Creehan’s new Micro Machining Center.

Daryl Scott, CEO and President of Attaain, Inc., made AttaainCI competitive intelligence reports all about me.

Frances Lynch, CEO of THC Technologies, made me a mogul.

"Let’s say you’re in your New York office and want to make a $1 million transfer to your branch office in India.  You make a phone call to your bank.  One of our VoiceVantage voice-activated security systems authenticates your voice.  The transfer is made.  You’re on to your next deal."

Mike Miller, CEO of VT KnowledgeWorks company Virginia nanoTech, rolls his eyes at my gee-whiz approach to high-tech, but, come on, that’s cool.

What else was cool was talking on the phone with Frances Lynch in her Boston office.  THC Technologies, which acquired the VoiceVantage software suite, began as a virtual member of VT KnowledgeWorks in the summer of 2007.  They now have an off-campus Virginia sales office.  Talk about tech transfer!

I would so enjoy meeting Frances Lynch in person.  I could sense her energy and passion.

She sounded just like an entrepreneur.
